RTL News talks about vlogging


So now the Dutch media is finally getting around to talking about vlogging, and of course they turn to Andrew to talk about it. Hey RTL! We're also here in Amsterdam. I feel kind of special having some of the first interviews already with Amanda and Andrew. If you haven't seen it, check out this interview I did the past summer, before the Hype got crazy. But there are a lot more shows and fun news shows that are better than rocketboom I believe. Have a look at mobuzz for instance.

  • however much this is not hot news, the item itself was rather good, making the point with the production costs and effort and not being condicending about it, but actually embracing it.

    RTL Nieuws New York signaleert trend: vloggen.
    Vloggen is de nieuwste trend op het internet. Het is een combinatie van webloggen en televisie maken. De RTL Nieuws-redactie in New York is er ook mee begonnen.
    Op een traditionele manier televisie maken, kost nog steeds kapitalen. Er is veel apparatuur voor nodig; camera's, microfoons, licht en zendmasten of satellietschotels om de programma's uit te zenden.
    Maar dankzij de nieuwste Ipod, waarop gebruikers nu ook videobeelden kunnen bekijken, kunnen miljoenen kijkers over de hele wereld je eigen zelfgemaakte TV-programma zien.
    "Met een paar simpele handelingen die je op diverse websites worden voorgekauwd, zet je zo je eigen internet-TV-station op", zegt RTL Nieuws-verslaggever Max Westerman. Op het zojuist gelanceerde rtlnewyork.com laat Westerman zélf zien hoe het werkt, vloggen...
